Hard Count Athletics (HCA), a leading youth sports organization with a successful history of bringing youth flag football tournaments and skills camps to youth throughout the country, returns to Florida on March 3, when the third installment in the 2019 Hard Count Athletics tournament series will take place in Miami at the training facility used by the NFL’s Miami Dolphins.
The 2019 Miami tournament will be the second time HCA has offered a tournament in Florida and, specifically, in Miami and at the Miami Dolphins’ practice facility. Last year, HCA presented its first major youth flag football tournament on the East Coast when it held one of the qualifying tournaments for last year’s Best in the Nation tournament series in Miami in June 2018. The 2018 series culminated in championship final in Dallas in July 2018. One of the teams from the Miami tournament, Team Red Zone Miami, was successful in being crowned the Best in the Nation in the 12 and under age group in Dallas, which is indicative of the immense youth flag football talent in South Florida.
The 2018 Miami tournament was such a success that we chose to return for our 2019 tournament series. Turnout was excellent and the competition was fierce as every team and all participants gave it their all, which led us at HCA to include Miami at the top of our list when it came to setting our schedule for our 2019 tournament series.
The tournament itself will be at the training facility used by the NFL’s Miami Dolphins. It will feature 5 on 5 play in the following age groups: 6u, 7u, 8u, 9u, 10u, 11u, 12u, 13u and 14u. The minimum number of players required for a team is five and up to 12 players are allowed on each team. There is a four-game guarantee for each team and more information regarding the tournament can be found on the HCA website. Winners in each age group will automatically advance to the national championship in San Diego in June. Participation is open to all teams that desire to enter; there are no qualifying requirements that must be met in order to compete. Therefore, if you are a coach or parent in Florida or anywhere nearby and would like your kids to compete against some of the best youth flag football talent in South Florida and across the wider Southeast, we would welcome your team’s participation and encourage you to register. Registration ends February 24th, so make sure to register your team today. New Orleans, Las Vegas, and the Bay Area are the next stops on the nationwide circuit after Miami.
Tournaments like the 2019 Miami event organized by Hard Count Athletics permit youth sports teams to hone their skills against some of the finest competition from around the country in a format that encourages safety, player participation and skills development. Competing in our flag football tournaments like the January 2019 Hawaii tournament, the February 2019 Los Angeles tournament, the March 2019 Miami tournament, and the other tournaments being held throughout the country leading up to the June 2019 national youth flag football championships in San Diego, helps contribute to the success enjoyed by youth flag football teams in both their regular weekly leagues as well as regional and national tournaments like those offered by HCA. Doing so also brings benefits in terms of a shared closeness that teams cannot quite build just by competing in their regular leagues together. In addition to regional and national youth flag football tournaments, HCA also offers skills camps annually across the United States. If your child is interested in competing against other young athletes to be his or her very best or in developing his or her skills, contact Hard Count Athletics today at email@example.com.
